Goliath Stoneworks was founded in 2022 on a simple belief: exceptional projects begin with exceptional craftsmanship.
With over 10+ years of experience working alongside some of Vancouver's leading masonry and hardscape companies, we established Goliath Stoneworks to deliver premium stone masonry and outdoor living projects without compromising on quality, detail, or execution.
Today, we partner with homeowners, custom builders, designers, and landscape professionals throughout Greater Vancouver and the Sea-to-Sky Corridor to create spaces that are both beautiful and built to last.
From natural stone veneer and architectural stonework to luxury patios, retaining walls, driveways, and outdoor living spaces, every project is approached with the same commitment to precision, craftsmanship, and long-term durability.

For me, masonry has always been more than a trade; it's a craft.
I've spent my career working with stone, learning from skilled tradespeople, and developing an appreciation for the level of detail required to create work that stands the test of time.
What I enjoy most is the process: transforming raw materials into something permanent, functional, and beautiful. Every project presents a new challenge, and I take pride in finding solutions that deliver the highest quality result possible.
When I founded Goliath Stoneworks, the goal wasn't simply to start another masonry company. It was to create a business built around craftsmanship, integrity, and a genuine passion for the work.
Today, that same philosophy continues to guide every project we take on.

A Personal Connection To The Trade
While researching my family history, I discovered references suggesting that the surname Machan may derive from an old French occupational term associated with a stone mason. While the exact origins are difficult to verify, it was a meaningful connection to uncover and one that resonates deeply with the work I do today.
